Jason’s Story

My name is Jason. I am 44 years old and have a wife and 2 kids at home. I have been a trucker for 20 years and a sole provider for the last 15 years. That all changed on Oct. 4, 2019 when I fell from the top of a trailer shattering a vertebrae and forever changing mine and my family’s lives. At this point, I am paralyzed from the waist down. I have no job and no income, but am completely overwhelmed by the amount of compassion my family has received from family, friends and strangers. It is my goal to work hard and put myself in a position to succeed no matter what.

This grant would mean a lot. It would allow me to get the therapy my therapist says I need without putting any further financial burden on my family.
