Colleena’s Story

June 30th, 2018, 11 days after Colleena’s 13th birthday, she was struck in the shoulder by a stray bullet. It went behind her lung and struck her spine. Colleena is a strong, humble young lady that loves to sing and help encourage others. Her dream is to be able to inspire and speak against gun violence.

Our lives were turned upside down with this random act of violence. It will mean everything to restore hope in Colleena’s heart. The therapy they offer through Medicaid will only work with Colleena on how to function in her chair. RTW does so much more. They do things beyond what we ever imagined.
