Charles was working in the home office, we heard a loud noise, we went in to see Charles on the floor, he was conscious but could not speak. The paramedics were called and he was taken to the hospital. A CT scan revealed a broken blood vessel in his brain. Surgery was performed the next day and he was in ICU for 14 days. He spent another 9 days in the hospital, then was sent to Northeast Rehabilitation in Concord, NC where he received physical, speech and occupational therapy for 3 months,then he came home and received in-home therapy. He has made great progress, more therapy will help him to improve more. This grant will help relieve the financial burden and to get Charles the help he needs.
