KAMBIZ’S STORY

On July 24, 2015, right before my 40th birthday, I was shot in my neck by an unknown person. I was taken to Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem and was diagnosed as a C-5/C-6 quadriplegic. I was at rehab until Jan. 2016 and finally made it back home in Feb. 2016.

I was very active before my injury and enjoyed keeping a fit body. I would love to be able to be as physically active as possible as a quadriplegic. Thank you for your consideration. This grant will provide great financial help to me for physical therapy to regain as much function as possible, so I can be as independent as possible.
