Lance F’s Story

I received a significant spinal cord injury in a sports game and became a quadriplegic at age 17. Before my injury I was able to go on a couple of great school trips and hope to someday travel again. I’m currently a college student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, with an interest in designing clothes and hope to restart my clothing business after I am finished with my education. I view physical therapy as my way to regain my independence and to become successful in life.


Receiving a grant would help my family’s out of pocket expense as physical therapy is very expensive and a local rehab facility would lessen the burden of traveling which would ease stress on our entire family.
