Stacy’s Story

I am an identical twin who suffered complications from prematurity. Before my spinal cord injury, even though I had severe cerebral palsy, I could do a lot of things for myself. Now I need care for almost everything. I have been through a lot of difficult times, but I work hard to be positive, not compare myself to others and give back to my community. I am an artist. I am also deaf and use ASL to communicate.

This grant would mean the world to me! It would allow me to feel better about myself, move my body and improve my range of motion. Without this grant, it is not possible.
