Allan’s Story

Allan and I have been married 57 years. He has been a very hard worker, sometimes working 2 jobs while I raised our three children. The Lord has blessed us richly.

Since he had his stroke in May, we have had home health, but not much accomplished. He needs a lot of physical therapy to help get him back on his feet and back into life. He is still paralyzed on the left side, but we know, with help, he will get to where he can walk again.

This grant would mean everything at this particular point in life, when we need the help to get Allan back to his normal self. I’m 74 years old and I am currently his full-time caregiver. If he got the assistance he needs, he could help me take care of him as well.
