Ja’Quana ‘s Story

On February 17, 2021 I was driving under a bridge and my car slid on black ice. I pressed the brakes and my car flipped over. After that I broke my neck and had a spine injury. They told me I was a quadriplegic. I was in the hospital for 3 months with physical and occupational therapy. Since then, I have learnt to sit up by myself, use my phone, taking steps with help. I can also put the effort to have my life back.

This grant will mean a lot by helping me to become as independent and useful to me and my family.
