Roxy’s Story

I was in a car accident on 1/28/20. I was trapped and had to be cut out the truck. I broke 6 ribs, fractured T11 and had to have emergency surgery to decompress and fuse T9-T12. I came home after 38 days. I try my hardest to be as independent as possible. I take public transportation and am back working part-time. I am a single mother and try my hardest to give her a normal life.

I am trying to provide a good life for my 11 year old. Therefore I try to be as independent and self–sufficient as possible. This grant would help me get even stronger to do this.
